“Our bodies are capable of doing so much more than we can ever imagine.”

Molly Sheridan (1957-)
Molly started running at 48 years old when a girlfriend invited her to run a marathon for "fun." She ran it, bonked at 20 miles and laughed her way to the finish line. Molly wondered how far she could really go. So she ran a 50K race. Molly thought, “What an adventure!” She ran a 50 mile race and then a 100 mile endurance run. “I realized that running distance is the ultimate test in body, mind and spirit.” Molly ran 150 miles across the Sahara Desert in the Marathon Des Sables race and was invited to the Badwater Ultramarathon (the toughest footrace on the planet). She completed it in 45 hours. Now she is running a 135 mile non-stop race in the Himalayas. “I've run about 30 ultramarathons. I think everyone should try one...it's a great challenge.” Go Molly!
