Bordering the Black Sea between Bulgaria and Georgia, and also bordering the Aegean Sea and the Mediterranean Sea between Greece and Syria; Turkey is one of the most historic places in the world.  In fact, the first humans to live in Turkey can be traced back to 23,000 BC.  While vacationing in Turkey, Adventure Woman recommends visiting Ephesus for the well-preserved ancient ruins.  Bodrum, a town where the famous Mausoleum is located, is also one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, definitely worth the visit.  Also stop at the famous Sultan Ahmed Mosque, known as the Blue Mosque because the beautiful blue interior tiles.  Don't leave without going to a coastal village and trying one of the delicious Turkish fish dishes.
