| The Canyonlands National Park has been visited
by people for over 10,000 years. Now that's a recommendation!
These rugged canyons are breath-taking in their expansive landscapes
of Cedar Mesa sandstone capped with jetting spires and unique
stone formations. The ancient cliff dwellings and archeological
handprints of Paleo-Indians are fascinating. If the aforementioned
doesn't capture the immediate interest of an Adventure Woman,
perhaps a surge of adrenaline from the Class V rapids will (after
the Colorado and the Green rivers merge into a combined powerhouse
of adventure). |
